Anabolic steroids list
Anabolic-androgenic steroids are synthetic or natural versions of testosterone. They treat hormone deficiencies but are also misused to build muscle. All are Schedule III under the Anabolic Steroid Control Act.
Misuse at high doses can cause heart enlargement, high blood pressure, blood clots, infertility, mood changes, and, in women, irreversible masculinization. Stopping after misuse can cause depression.
